Dinosaurs and Birds...

I've been enjoying making these watercolour sketches this week!

The 'Alternative Dinosaurs' have been popular, and now I offer custom options.
Here you can see Derek, Poppy, James, Disco Ken, Janet, Hugo and Geoff.
So if you've always wanted to see yourself or a loved one represented as a cute colourful dinosaur, just give a name and a few quirky facts and I will do the rest.
Available here!

If birds are more your style, I have a custom option on the family of birds sketch too. However many members your flock has, they can be represented in watercolour style with shiny foil details.
Get yours now!

I really love making these, the vivid colours are perfect for this season.
Can't wait to see what you come up with for your custom :)

Well, back to it!

Winner winner winner!

Over on t'Book of Face a few days ago, I held a little contest to win one of three of these Hitherto Unseen prints. I asked you give names to the two little toadstool characters, and I've picked my three favourites!

Ashley Romereim suggested Rua and Tintrรญ, which are Gaelic words meaning red and fiery! Just perfect for these two characters, sums them up perfectly.

Jerome Murphy gave them the names Ceps and Morel, which sound suitably fantasy-like, and are also names of actual mushrooms. Clever!

Gill Walker chose Pinny and Bib, to reflect that they are Crimson Pinafore mushrooms. So cute!

Congrats to all three winners, your prints are on the way!

Thank you to everyone who suggested names, there were so many brilliant ones it was hard to choose just three.

Prints are available to purchase here - Crimson Pinafore

Have a great weekend!

Music is what feelings sound like!

Okay so the photo is pretty terrible but forgive me as I'm relegated to the darkest corner of the house. It could be 30 degrees outside and the photos on my desk would still look like this. Sucks huh? Great in Winter when you can chuck a bit of holly on the corner and et voila, but now? Not so much.

This original sketch, "Music Is What Feelings Sound Like" featuring Olive the snail with little watercolour musical notes is now £100 in the sale, reduced from £160. ๐ŸŒ
I've been dabbling with holographic foil and watercolour today, but you'd already know that and quite possibly would have bagged one for £20 if you were following us on Patreon ๐Ÿ˜œ
*Sashays away*
If you're not lucky enough to bag the original sketch, there's always the template of the same name for you to try. It's a lovely big one, with the opportunity to use lots of colours in the background, while bum-dancing to your favourite tunes! I'd love to see when you've had a go. Share your photos in our friendly Facebook group ๐Ÿ˜Š

I've been busy working on custom sketches for you lovely lot, I'm always intrigued by the design ideas you come up with! Available in ACEO size or a larger square style, if you've ever wanted to see my stretch my drawing fingers beyond the Woodland Friends, get your request in soon.

I'd better get back to it - see you next week!
